Which cylinder brands do we accept as a return?

If you wish to swap an empty cylinder for a full one, you can place an order on the website shop or your account. Why are some metered supply estimates inaccurate?

Every customer has different heating requirements - some may require more heating throughout the day whereas others will have lower consumption requirements if they are away from the property at work. Once we have a minimum of 12 months fuel consumption the estimating process becomes easier but sudden changes in family circumstances or weather patterns also play a part in hampering our calculation. We strongly recommend you provide us with an actual meter reading online every month, which will ensure we do not send estimated bills which are triggered where no read is applied in a 3 month period. Why is my account in credit?

Your account could be in credit for a number of reasons. If you're a bulk LPG customer, you may have paid for an order of gas but we delivered less than you paid for. As we only ever fill your tank to 85% to allow for the expansion of gas during warm weather, you may find the quantity of litres that you paid for was more than the litres we were able to deliver. If you pay us by budget Direct Debit don’t forget that you spread the cost of your gas over 12 payments, this means your account will go into credit and debit throughout the year. At the end of each budget year we will review your payments, and adjust your payment amount if needed. However if you are concerned about the level of credit or debit please get in touch with an advisor today who will be happy to review your account and discuss this with you. Will I be charged for the cylinder?

When you buy gas from us in a cylinder, you'll be asked to pay a 'cylinder charge' for each cylinder. This is because it will remain our property, and it is being provided to you only for the purposes of using the gas supplied. When the cylinder is empty, you can simply exchange it for a pre-filled cylinder or return the empty cylinder to us. There is no charge when swapping a cylinder within the same category. You can swap your gas cylinder for any cylinder within the same category. If you're not sure which category your cylinder is in, they are outlined below. To swap a cylinder, you can place an order on the website shop or your account. Simply choose the bottle you wish to order and when prompted, select yes where it says 'Do you have a cylinder to return'. You can also check previous orders in your account if you're unsure which cylinder you have. The driver will deliver your new cylinder and take the old one away to be refilled.
